Keep a roof over Wesley's head in Denver
After the loss of a second income, Wesley is 3 months behind on rent and has a court summons for non-payment from the landlord.

After a car accident that kept me from work for 8 weeks, I fell 3 months behind on rent. Last Tuesday a court summons for non-payment was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $4,850.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by May, we must leave.
I have three school-aged children at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working two part-time jobs, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
The money will be paid directly to the landlord and I'll upload the receipt once it's done.
Where the $4,850 goes:
• Rent arrears (3 months): $3,500
• Late fees and court costs: $160
• Utilities in arrears: $320
• First month of rent as a buffer: $870
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Thinking of you, Wesley. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Please keep us posted. Thinking of Denver.
Wishing you the best. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. Wish I lived closer to San Francisco so I could bring a meal. Take care.
Hope you get there. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Thinking of Denver.
