Keep a roof over Viola's head in Brescia
A sudden layoff left Viola short on rent for 2 months; help us stay in our home.

Following a long illness in the family, I fell 2 months behind on rent. Last Saturday a 10-day notice to quit was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $2,800.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by October, we must leave.
I have three school-aged children at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working two part-time jobs, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
The money will be paid directly to the landlord and I'll upload the receipt once it's done.
Where the $2,800 goes:
• Rent arrears (2 months): $1,900
• Late fees and court costs: $240
• Utilities in arrears: $110
• First month of rent as a buffer: $550
Every share and every dollar helps.

thinking of you. Hope you get there. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Take care.
Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Viola.
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. rent arrears (2 months) comes first ($1,900) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Happy to explain more.
I hope things turn around soon. Greetings from Bandung.
How is Viola doing now?
Take care. Shared this with my family. I'm in logistics myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. God bless.
Wishing you peace. This could happen to any of us. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. All the best.
Sending love. Hope this works out for you. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Take care
