After a long illness, Su-bin is 4 months behind on rent and has a 10-day notice to quit from the landlord.

When the bakery closed in December, Su-bin fell 4 months behind on rent. Last Wednesday a 10-day notice to quit was taped to the door, and the amount owed is $3,050.
The landlord was understanding for a while, but has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by April, the family must leave.
There are three school-aged children at home. Moving would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
Su-bin has started working weekend shifts, and is applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
The money will be paid directly to the landlord and I'll upload the receipt once it's done.
Where the $3,050 goes:
• Rent arrears (4 months): $2,000
• Late fees and court costs: $230
• Utilities in arrears: $125
• First month of rent as a buffer: $695
