Keep a roof over Sophia's head in Hamilton
After a car accident, Sophia is 2 months behind on rent and has a final eviction notice from the landlord.

When the hotel closed in June, I fell 2 months behind on rent. Last Saturday a final eviction notice was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $2,150.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by October, we must leave.
I've 4 children at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working night deliveries, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
The money will be paid directly to the landlord and I'll upload the receipt once it's done.
Where the $2,150 goes:
• Late fees and court costs: $125
• First month of rent as a buffer: $490
• Rent arrears (2 months): $1,535
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

Thinking of you, Sophia. Shared this with my family. Thinking of Hamilton
Best of luck. Gave what I could, wish it was more. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.
Sending good thoughts. Hope this works out for you. My neighbor in Pune donated after I showed her your page.
take care, Sophia. Looking forward to the next update. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Blessings.
Looking forward to the next update. Greetings from Dar es Salaam.
