Keep a roof over Sérgio's head in Santos
A 10-day notice to quit arrived last week. Sérgio needs $850 to clear the arrears and stay housed in Santos.

Following a long illness in the family, I fell 3 months behind on rent. Last Monday a 10-day notice to quit was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $850.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by June, we must leave.
I have a teenager still in school at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working night deliveries, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.
Where the $850 goes:
• Rent arrears (3 months): $430
• Late fees and court costs: $40
• Utilities in arrears: $105
• First month of rent as a buffer: $275
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Wishing you peace, Sérgio. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Take care
Praying for you, Sérgio. I hope things turn around soon. Love from Munich
Praying for you. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
