Keep a roof over Satria's head in Jakarta

After a car accident that kept me from work for 12 weeks, I fell 3 months behind on rent. Last Monday a 10-day notice to quit was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $450. My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by October, we must leave. I have two young children at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else. I have started working weekend shifts, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here. Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent. Where the $450 goes: • Rent arrears (3 months): $310 • First month of rent as a buffer: $115 • Utilities in arrears: $25 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
