Keep a roof over Rojina's head in Pokhara
A 10-day notice to quit arrived last week. Rojina needs $200 to clear the arrears and stay housed in Pokhara.

Following a long illness in the family, Rojina fell 2 months behind on rent. Last Thursday a 10-day notice to quit was taped to the door, and the amount owed is $200.
The landlord was understanding for a while, but has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by March, the family must leave.
There are 3 children at home. Moving would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
Rojina has started working evenings as a cleaner, and is applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
The money will be paid directly to the landlord and I'll upload the receipt once it's done.
Where the $200 goes:
• Utilities in arrears: $35
• First month of rent as a buffer: $115
• Late fees and court costs: $50
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Rojina.
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. utilities in arrears comes first ($35) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Appreciate you taking the time.
Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I went through something like this 2 years ago and strangers helped me out. Thinking of Pokhara.
Can I help in a way that isn't money? I'm near Pokhara
Thank you. If you're in Pokhara I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. Good question.
Praying for you. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Thinking of Pokhara.
you're not alone. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. I'll check back for the next update
Thinking of you. Hope this works out for you. Please keep us posted.
