Keep a roof over Paolo's head in Bacolod
A final eviction notice arrived last week. Paolo needs $350 to clear the arrears and stay housed in Bacolod.

After a sudden layoff at the warehouse, Paolo fell 4 months behind on rent. Last Friday a final eviction notice was taped to the door, and the amount owed is $350.
The landlord was understanding for a while, but has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by December, the family must leave.
There are three school-aged children at home. Moving would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
Paolo has started working night deliveries, and is applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
The money will be paid directly to the landlord and I'll upload the receipt once it's done.
Where the $350 goes:
• Rent arrears (4 months): $240
• Late fees and court costs: $50
• Utilities in arrears: $60
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Take care, Rolando. Shared it with a few friends. My neighbor in Thane donated after I showed her your page. Love from Thane.
is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Paolo.
Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. rent arrears (4 months) comes first ($240) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Thanks, that means a lot.
Sending strength, Rolando. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. God bless.
Hope it all works out. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Sent it to 40 people at work. Blessings!
Rooting for you, Rolando. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money.
Hope things get better soon, Rolando. Gave what I could, wish it was more. After 8 years in teaching I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
