Keep a roof over Oluwaseun's head in Kaduna
A car accident left Oluwaseun short on rent for 2 months; help us stay in our home.

When the textile factory closed in November, I fell 2 months behind on rent. Last Friday a 10-day notice to quit was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $650.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by February, we must leave.
I have a toddler and a baby at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working extra hours at a market stall, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.
Where the $650 goes:
• Rent arrears (2 months): $500
• First month of rent as a buffer: $130
• Utilities in arrears: $20
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Good news. Because of your gifts ($401 in total) the first invoice got paid this week. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.

You're not alone, Oluwaseun. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. I have a 10 year old who wants to send good wishes too.
Sending good thoughts. Shared it with a few friends. It's not much but it's yours. Greetings from Üsküdar.
