A court summons for non-payment arrived last week. Natalia needs $1,450 to clear the arrears and stay housed in Tarragona.

When the textile factory closed in July, Natalia fell 3 months behind on rent. Last Sunday a court summons for non-payment was taped to the door, and the amount owed is $1,450.
The landlord was understanding for a while, but has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by November, the family must leave.
There are 4 children at home. Moving would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
Natalia has started working two part-time jobs, and is applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.
