Keep a roof over Mark's head in Quezon City

A final eviction notice arrived last week. Mark needs $150 to clear the arrears and stay housed in Quezon City.

When the textile factory closed in July, I fell 5 months behind on rent. Last Sunday a final eviction notice was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $150. My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by October, we must leave. I've 3 children at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else. I have started working evenings as a cleaner, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here. The money will be paid directly to the landlord and I'll upload the receipt once it's done. Where the $150 goes: • Late fees and court costs: $50 • Utilities in arrears: $20 • First month of rent as a buffer: $80 Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
