Keep a roof over Manuela's head in Ribeirão Preto
A termination letter arrived last week. Manuela needs $850 to clear the arrears and stay housed in Ribeirão Preto.

When the construction firm closed in August, I fell 4 months behind on rent. Last Wednesday a termination letter was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $850.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by December, we must leave.
I have a toddler and a baby at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working weekend shifts, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.
Where the $850 goes:
• Rent arrears (4 months): $580
• Late fees and court costs: $75
• Utilities in arrears: $50
• First month of rent as a buffer: $145
Glad we found this place.

Hope this works out for you. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Love from Tokyo.
