Keep a roof over Mairead's head in Dublin
A divorce left Mairead short on rent for 3 months; help us stay in our home.

Following a long illness in the family, I fell 3 months behind on rent. Last Saturday a court summons for non-payment was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $3,700.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by November, we must leave.
I've 4 children at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working evenings as a cleaner, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.
Where the $3,700 goes:
• Rent arrears (3 months): $2,450
• Late fees and court costs: $170
• Utilities in arrears: $260
• First month of rent as a buffer: $820
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Take care, Mairead. Hope this works out for you. I went through something like this 3 years ago and strangers helped me out!
Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Put this on a community board in Aurangabad this morning. Love from Aurangabad.
sending good thoughts, Mairead. Shared it with a few friends.
Sending good thoughts, Mairead. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. It's not much but it's yours. Thinking of Dublin.
Hope things get better soon. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon
