Keep a roof over Lorenzo's head in Buenos Aires
After a long illness, Lorenzo is 3 months behind on rent and has a final eviction notice from the landlord.

When my hours were cut in half in August, I fell 3 months behind on rent. Last Monday a final eviction notice was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $800.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by October, we must leave.
I have a toddler and a baby at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working evenings as a cleaner, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
The money will be paid directly to the landlord and I'll upload the receipt once it's done.
Where the $800 goes:
• Rent arrears (3 months): $490
• Late fees and court costs: $55
• Utilities in arrears: $35
• First month of rent as a buffer: $220
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Thinking of you and your family, Lorenzo. Shared this with my family. I have a 12 year old who wants to send good wishes too. God bless.
So sorry you're going through this. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. My husband and I read this together. Greetings from Warangal.
