Keep a roof over Lorenzo's head in Bogotá
After a cut in working hours, Lorenzo is 5 months behind on rent and has a termination letter from the landlord.

Following a long illness in the family, I fell 5 months behind on rent. Last Sunday a termination letter was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $750.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by May, we must leave.
I've 3 children at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working evenings as a cleaner, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
The money will be paid directly to the landlord and I'll upload the receipt once it's done.
Where the $750 goes:
• Rent arrears (5 months): $420
• Late fees and court costs: $80
• Utilities in arrears: $35
• First month of rent as a buffer: $215
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

sending love. Hope this works out for you. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Greetings from Pune.
Best of luck, Lorenzo. Looking forward to the next update. Take care
Take care, Lorenzo. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Sent it to 5 people at work.
Rooting for you, Lorenzo. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. After 9 years in social work I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Blessings.
