Keep a roof over Liang's head in Red Deer
A car accident left Liang short on rent for 3 months; help us stay in our home.

When the construction firm closed in August, Liang fell 3 months behind on rent. Last Saturday a court summons for non-payment was taped to the door, and the amount owed is $4,100.
The landlord was understanding for a while, but has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by December, the family must leave.
There are three school-aged children at home. Moving would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
Liang has started working two part-time jobs, and is applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.
Where the $4,100 goes:
• Rent arrears (3 months): $2,650
• Late fees and court costs: $300
• Utilities in arrears: $320
• First month of rent as a buffer: $830
