Keep a roof over Leandro's head in Santarém
After a delayed insurance payout, Leandro is 3 months behind on rent and has a final eviction notice from the landlord.

Following a long illness in the family, I fell 3 months behind on rent. Last Thursday a final eviction notice was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $1,250.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by April, we must leave.
I've 3 children at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working two part-time jobs, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
The money will be paid directly to the landlord and I'll upload the receipt once it's done.
Where the $1,250 goes:
• Rent arrears (3 months): $850
• Late fees and court costs: $45
• Utilities in arrears: $50
• First month of rent as a buffer: $305
Thanks for being kind about this.

keep going. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. Blessings.
Sending love, Leandro. I hope things turn around soon. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. God bless.
You're not alone, Leandro. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Love from Medan
Hope it all works out. Looking forward to the next update. I went through something like this 6 years ago and strangers helped me out. Blessings.
So sorry you're going through this. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. All the best.
