Keep a roof over Itzel's head in Madrid
A cut in working hours left Itzel short on rent for 2 months; help us stay in our home.

After a car accident that kept me from work for 6 weeks, I fell 2 months behind on rent. Last Tuesday a 10-day notice to quit was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $2,400.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by October, we must leave.
I've 2 children at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working two part-time jobs, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
The money will be paid directly to the landlord and I'll upload the receipt once it's done.
Where the $2,400 goes:
• Rent arrears (2 months): $1,750
• First month of rent as a buffer: $420
• Utilities in arrears: $230
Thank you so much.

Rooting for you, Itzel. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Blessings.
Sending good thoughts, Itzel. Your post was clear and honest. After 17 years in farming I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Greetings from Dharan.
