Keep a roof over Giuseppe's head in Rome
After the closure of the factory, Giuseppe is 3 months behind on rent and has a notice to vacate from the landlord.
🇮🇹 Rome, Lazio, Italy1,212 views
After a car accident that kept me from work for 12 weeks, I fell 3 months behind on rent. Last Wednesday a notice to vacate was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $2,600.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by December, we must leave.
I have a toddler and a baby at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working two part-time jobs, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.
Where the $2,600 goes:
• Rent arrears (3 months): $1,450
• Late fees and court costs: $200
• Utilities in arrears: $250
• First month of rent as a buffer: $700
Every share and every dollar helps.

good luck, Giuseppe. Shared it with a few friends. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. God bless.
I hope things turn around soon. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Thinking of Rome
Hope this works out for you. Don't give up. Thinking of Rome.
