Keep a roof over Gaurav's head in Varanasi
A 10-day notice to quit arrived last week. Gaurav needs $250 to clear the arrears and stay housed in Varanasi.

After a car accident that kept me from work for 7 weeks, I fell 5 months behind on rent. Last Wednesday a 10-day notice to quit was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $250.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by December, we must leave.
I have a teenager still in school at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working weekend shifts, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
The money will be paid directly to the landlord and I'll upload the receipt once it's done.
Where the $250 goes:
• First month of rent as a buffer: $175
• Late fees and court costs: $25
• Utilities in arrears: $50
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
