Keep a roof over Fitria's head in Jakarta
The closure of the factory left Fitria short on rent for 3 months; help us stay in our home.

After a sudden layoff at the construction firm, I fell 3 months behind on rent. Last Thursday a notice to vacate was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $650.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by November, we must leave.
I have a toddler and a baby at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working extra hours at a market stall, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.
Where the $650 goes:
• Rent arrears (3 months): $440
• Late fees and court costs: $50
• Utilities in arrears: $40
• First month of rent as a buffer: $120

keep going, Fitria. Shared it with a few friends. God bless.
so sorry you're going through this, Fitria. Hope you get there. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double
Hang in there, Fitria. This could happen to any of us. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Thinking of Jakarta!
Wishing you peace. This could happen to any of us. I hope November is when things finally get easier. God bless
Hope things get better soon, Fitria. Gave what I could, wish it was more. After 26 years in nursing I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
