Keep a roof over Cesar's head in Bacoor
The closure of the factory left Cesar short on rent for 3 months; help us stay in our home.
🇵🇭 Bacoor, Cavite, Philippines233 views
Following a long illness in the family, I fell 3 months behind on rent. Last Friday a court summons for non-payment was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $300.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by October, we must leave.
I have a teenager still in school at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working two part-time jobs, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
The money will be paid directly to the landlord and I'll upload the receipt once it's done.
Where the $300 goes:
• Utilities in arrears: $25
• Rent arrears (3 months): $250
• Late fees and court costs: $25
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

You're not alone, Cesar. Looking forward to the next update. We're a small family in Belfast but we're thinking of you. Greetings from Belfast.
Keep going. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Thinking of Bacoor!
Sending good thoughts, Cesar. I hope things turn around soon. My sister had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Greetings from Istanbul
praying for you, Cesar. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. It's not much but it's yours. God bless
