Keep a roof over Binod's head in Bhaktapur
A termination letter arrived last week. Binod needs $500 to clear the arrears and stay housed in Bhaktapur.

After a car accident that kept me from work for 7 weeks, I fell 3 months behind on rent. Last Sunday a termination letter was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $500.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by September, we must leave.
I have two young children at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working two part-time jobs, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.
Where the $500 goes:
• Rent arrears (3 months): $350
• Late fees and court costs: $40
• Utilities in arrears: $45
• First month of rent as a buffer: $65
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
