Keep a roof over Đạt's head in Thủ Đức
A delayed insurance payout left Đạt short on rent for 3 months; help us stay in our home.

After a sudden layoff at the warehouse, I fell 3 months behind on rent. Last Thursday a termination letter was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $500.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by April, we must leave.
I have a teenager still in school at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working night deliveries, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.
Where the $500 goes:
• Rent arrears (3 months): $280
• Late fees and court costs: $25
• Utilities in arrears: $50
• First month of rent as a buffer: $145
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

I hope things turn around soon. Greetings from Belém.
Thinking of you, Đạt. Your post was clear and honest. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.
Sending strength. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Love from Jacksonville!
Hope it all works out. Gave what I could, wish it was more. After 12 years in engineering I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
Wishing you the best, Đạt. I hope things turn around soon. My husband and I read this together. Greetings from Mapo
Hope things get better soon. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. Love from New Delhi
Gave what I could, wish it was more. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Thinking of Thủ Đức.
A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. It's not much but it's yours. Thinking of Thủ Đức.
Sending love, Đạt. Looking forward to the next update. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Blessings.
