Keep a roof over Arjun's head in Mumbai
A cut in working hours left Arjun short on rent for 3 months; help us stay in our home.

When the textile factory closed in August, I fell 3 months behind on rent. Last Thursday a 10-day notice to quit was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $460.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by November, we must leave.
I have a teenager still in school at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working evenings as a cleaner, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
The money will be paid directly to the landlord and I'll upload the receipt once it's done.
Where the $460 goes:
• First month of rent as a buffer: $125
• Rent arrears (3 months): $330
• Utilities in arrears: $5

Thinking of you. Hope this works out for you. Love from Agra.
your post was clear and honest. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. God bless.
What's already covered and what's the $460 for?
The list at the bottom is the whole picture. first month of rent as a buffer is the biggest at $125. Thanks for looking so closely.
Hope things get better soon, Arjun. Your post was clear and honest. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. All the best.
Keep going, Arjun. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My brother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.
Hope things get better soon. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I went through something like this 12 years ago and strangers helped me out. Take care.
