Keep a roof over Arianna's head in Syracuse
A cut in working hours left Arianna short on rent for 4 months; help us stay in our home.

After a sudden layoff at the hotel, I fell 4 months behind on rent. Last Friday a final eviction notice was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $3,900.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by December, we must leave.
I have two young children at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working evenings as a cleaner, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.
Where the $3,900 goes:
• Late fees and court costs: $290
• Utilities in arrears: $180
• Rent arrears (4 months): $3,430
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

gave what I could, wish it was more. We're a small family in La Plata but we're thinking of you.
Hope things get better soon, Arianna. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day.
A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. I went through something like this 11 years ago and strangers helped me out. Love from Paarl.
