Keep a roof over Angelo's head in Iloilo City
After a long illness, Angelo is 2 months behind on rent and has a court summons for non-payment from the landlord.

When my hours were cut in half in April, I fell 2 months behind on rent. Last Wednesday a court summons for non-payment was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $600.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by August, we must leave.
I have a teenager still in school at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working night deliveries, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.
Where the $600 goes:
• Rent arrears (2 months): $410
• Late fees and court costs: $30
• Utilities in arrears: $20
• First month of rent as a buffer: $140
With deep gratitude,
Angelo
