Keep a roof over Angel's head in Manchester
A 10-day notice to quit arrived last week. Angel needs $2,000 to clear the arrears and stay housed in Manchester.

When my hours were cut in half in January, I fell 2 months behind on rent. Last Sunday a 10-day notice to quit was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $2,000.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by May, we must leave.
I have three school-aged children at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working extra hours at a market stall, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
The money will be paid directly to the landlord and I'll upload the receipt once it's done.
Where the $2,000 goes:
• Utilities in arrears: $130
• Rent arrears (2 months): $1,750
• Late fees and court costs: $120
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Updates from Angel
Good news. Because of your gifts ($313 in total) I made the first payment toward late fees and court costs. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
Wanted to say thank you properly. 3% funded and I met with the landlord and confirmed the amounts. - Angel

Thinking of you and your family, Angel. Hope this works out for you.
Best of luck, Angel. Gave what I could, wish it was more.
Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Thinking of Manchester.
