Kebede's final semester of an accounting degree in Hawassa
Kebede has worked and saved for five years to study an accounting degree; a $700 gap now stands between him and graduation.

Kebede is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying an accounting degree at the Hawassa Institute of Technology, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $700.
The registrar has said Kebede can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Kebede has a 3.8 average, and a department head has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Kebede would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Kebede isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the the Hawassa Institute of Technology bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
