Kayode served fourteen years; now needs help to get home
An engineering corps veteran in Lagos needs help with a first month of rent and transport to job interviews after leaving service with a back injury.

Nneka served fourteen years in the engineering corps and was discharged in 2023 with a back injury. She has been waiting nine months for support, and meanwhile is sleeping at a brother's place.
The plan: a first month of rent and transport to job interviews. The quote comes to $600.
Nneka is receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and is committed to recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'll post invoices, with personal details hidden.
Where the $600 goes:
• Transport to appointments: $65
• Essential household items: $55
• Training provider fees: $480
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
