Kateryna's kidney cancer treatment fund
Kateryna is facing kidney cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Kateryna was diagnosed with kidney cancer in March. The oncology team at the Yekaterinburg Oncology Institute has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in June. She will be away from work for about 7 weeks.
Kateryna is 47, worked as a shop owner until March, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Yekaterinburg Oncology Institute 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $2,800 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,900
• Scans and lab work: $210
• Household costs while unable to work: $690

Sure. The biggest one is chemotherapy and medication not covered, $1,900. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Thanks for asking.
