Karim's septoplasty can't wait - please help us cover the bill
After a deviated septum causing chronic infections, Karim was cleared for septoplasty, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Karim was diagnosed with a deviated septum causing chronic infections in August. The surgeon at Saint Mary Hospital recommended septoplasty, and He is scheduled for October. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,650, and after what the public health scheme will pay we're still $1,000 short.
my son has been in and out of Saint Mary Hospital since August. The doctors say a deviated septum causing chronic infections will get worse without septoplasty. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,650 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Karim struggles with daily life and can't climb stairs. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 10 weeks. During that time Karim won't be able to climb stairs, so the costs keep growing.
The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did.
Where the $1,000 goes:
• Hospital stay (4 nights): $360
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $45
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $595
Thank you so much.
