Kannan's path to healing - a structured recovery program in Tiruchirappalli
Kannan is working through the miscarriage and needs help paying for 16 sessions with a licensed counselor.
🇮🇳 India763 views
After the miscarriage, Kannan has struggled with anxiety, sleep and panic attacks. The doctor has referred him to a structured recovery program, but the public waiting list is 11 months, and private sessions at Tiruchirappalli Wellbeing Centre cost $20 each.
Kannan has been honest with his employer and taken some time off, but can't keep going without support.
Therapy has already helped a little in the sessions Kannan could afford. The therapist recommends 16 weekly sessions, and consistent help will make the difference.
Asking for help with this has been the hardest part for Kannan, and we're grateful for your kindness without judgment.
Funds cover only therapy sessions, and I'll share progress updates (not private details) if I'm comfortable.
Where the $350 goes:
• 16 therapy sessions: $280
• Psychiatric assessment: $35
• Workbook and resources: $35
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
