Juma needs my taxi repaired to get back to work in Kikuyu
Juma's my taxi is Juma's only source of income and needs a fuel pump replacement costing $300.

I make my living with my taxi. 4 weeks ago the fuel pump failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $300. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my younger brothers and sisters. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next six months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $300 goes:
• Labor charges: $30
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $25
• fuel pump replacement (parts): $245
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Juma
Sure. The biggest one is labor charges, $30. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Ask me anything else.
Keep going, Juma. Shared it with a few friends.
thinking of you and your family, Juma. Your post was clear and honest. Wish I lived closer to London so I could bring a meal. God bless.
Best of luck, Juma. Hope you get there. I'm in logistics myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. All the best.
Sending love, Juma. Small businesses are the heart of Kikuyu. Hope you're open again soon. Blessings.
Stay strong, Juma. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Take care.
