Juma needs a lift to the Embakasi Kidney Centre - can you help one day a week?

A rota of drivers to the Embakasi Kidney Centre would keep Juma on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.

Embakasi
Juma has been on dialysis for 5 years and until recently drove to the Embakasi Kidney Centre alone. After surgery on their hand, Juma can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week. We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 26 km each way. Juma is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food. Please say which day works for you in the comments. Thank you for reading my story.

Sending strength. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Love from Manchester.
