Julián needs a pair of hearing aids - help us make it happen
A pair of hearing aids would give Julián independence - we're $1,100 away.
🇦🇷 Buenos Aires, Argentina1,703 views
Julián lives with cerebral palsy. The occupational therapist at the Buenos Aires Rehabilitation Centre has assessed him and recommended a pair of hearing aids. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,100.
His current equipment is 13 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 3 weeks.
With the right equipment Julián could speak with the people around him. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $1,100 goes:
• pair of hearing aids: $890
• Fitting and training sessions: $80
• Delivery and set-up: $55
• First-year servicing plan: $75
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
