Julia's emergency hernia repair can't wait - please help us cover the bill
A scheduled emergency hernia repair in August is out of reach without help covering $6,300 of the cost.

Julia was diagnosed with a deviated septum causing chronic infections in May. The surgeon at Allentown Regional Medical Center recommended emergency hernia repair, and She is scheduled for August. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $12,500, and after what my insurance will pay we're still $6,300 short.
my mother has been in and out of Allentown Regional Medical Center since May. The doctors say a deviated septum causing chronic infections will get worse without emergency hernia repair. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $12,500 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Julia struggles with daily life and can't work a full shift. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
The recovery period is expected to take about 6 weeks. During that time Julia won't be able to work a full shift, so the costs keep growing.
