Juan's valve repair surgery can't wait - please help us cover the bill
A scheduled valve repair surgery in September is out of reach without help covering $1,300 of the cost.

Juan was diagnosed with gallstones with repeated infections in May. The surgeon at Saint Joseph Hospital recommended valve repair surgery, and He is scheduled for September. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $2,600, and after what my insurance will pay we're still $1,300 short.
my son has been in and out of Saint Joseph Hospital since May. The doctors say gallstones with repeated infections will get worse without valve repair surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $2,600 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Juan struggles with daily life and can't look after the children alone. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 6 weeks. During that time Juan won't be able to look after the children alone, so the costs keep growing.
