I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a pharmacy diploma at the San Jose Institute of Technology, and I'm one semester away from graduating. I have worked as a delivery rider to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $2,550. The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a first-class average, and my academic advisor has written in support of my application for a payment plan. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility. I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student. The payment will go directly to the the San Jose Institute of Technology bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $2,550 goes: • Final term tuition: $1,950 • Textbooks and materials: $350 • Exam and lab fees: $250 With deep gratitude, Joshua

  • thinking of you and your family, Joshua. This could happen to any of us. After 8 years in hospitality I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Love from Pune.

    • Hope it all works out, Joshua. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Love from São Paulo

      • looking forward to the next update. I'm in customer support myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. All the best

        • Praying for you, Joshua. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My neighbor in Lagos donated after I showed her your page. Blessings.
