Bacoor
I live with a spinal cord injury. My occupational therapist at the Bacoor Rehabilitation Centre has assessed me and recommended a stair-climbing aid. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $700. My current equipment is 9 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 4 weeks. With the right equipment I could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing. Where the $700 goes: • stair-climbing aid: $580 • Delivery and set-up: $35 • First-year servicing plan: $85 Every share and every dollar helps. - Joshua

  • Best of luck. I hope things turn around soon. My neighbor in Petrópolis donated after I showed her your page. Thinking of Bacoor.
