Jordan's school year: uniform, books and a laptop
Jordan won a place at Birmingham International School but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.

Jordan earned a place in Year 10 at Birmingham International School, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things He needs, including a laptop for the biology course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $950, which is more than they have.
Jordan loves biology and wants to become a marine biologist. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
He will take care of everything given and works very hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $950 goes:
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $65
• Laptop: $640
• School uniform and shoes: $245
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
