Jonathan's stomach cancer treatment fund
4 rounds of treatment are planned at the Townsville Oncology Institute; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Jonathan was diagnosed with stomach cancer in August. The oncology team at the Townsville Oncology Institute has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 6 weeks.
Jonathan is 45, worked as a shop owner until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Townsville Oncology Institute 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $10,550 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $7,000
• Scans and lab work: $710
• Transport to the Townsville Oncology Institute: $400
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $470
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,970
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
