Jonathan was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer in February. The oncology team at Dundee University Hospital has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in May. He will be away from work for about 12 weeks. Jonathan is 24, worked as a hairdresser until February, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Dundee University Hospital 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $10,000 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $6,250 • Scans and lab work: $1,150 • Transport to Dundee University Hospital: $400 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $310 • Household costs while unable to work: $1,890 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
