Joko was diagnosed with a torn ligament that needs reconstruction in March. The surgeon at Bekasi Community Hospital recommended laparoscopic cyst removal, and He is scheduled for July. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,400, and after what the government subsidy will pay we're still $700 short. my son has been in and out of Bekasi Community Hospital since March. The doctors say a torn ligament that needs reconstruction will get worse without laparoscopic cyst removal. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,400 is more than we can find. While we wait, Joko struggles with daily life and can't drive. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there. The recovery period is expected to take about 6 weeks.
