John needs my school-run minibus repaired to get back to work in Vancouver

Without my school-run minibus John can't work; a $1,150 repair would put him back on the road.

I make my living with my school-run minibus. 5 weeks ago the gearbox failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $1,150. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my 4 children. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. I'll pay the mechanic directly and show you the repaired vehicle in an update. Where the $1,150 goes: • gearbox replacement (parts): $520 • Labor charges: $200 • Road tax and insurance renewal: $250 • Towing and inspection: $180 Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.
