Johanna needs two washing machines and a dryer to reopen a laundry service
Johanna lost two washing machines and a dryer to a long illness and repossession and needs $1,800 to reopen a laundry service and support the family.

For three years I have run a laundry service in Karlsruhe. In May, a long illness and repossession took two washing machines and a dryer. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Tuesday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 6 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $1,800 goes:
• Shop repairs and licensing: $450
• Initial stock: detergent and packaging: $630
• Working capital for the first month: $720
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

You're not alone. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. We're a small family in Knoxville but we're thinking of you. God bless.
