Jocelyn is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a master's in public health at London University, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a library assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $4,700. The registrar has said Jocelyn can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Jocelyn has a first-class average, and a professor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Jocelyn would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Jocelyn isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees. Where the $4,700 goes: • Final term tuition: $1,900 • Textbooks and materials: $105 • Outstanding tuition balance: $2,695 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support. - Samuel
