Jie's school year: uniform, books and a laptop

I earned a place in Form 4 at Los Angeles Boys' High School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the mathematics course, and a uniform. My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $1,150, which is more than we have. I love mathematics and want to become a pilot. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours. I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard. I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything. Where the $1,150 goes: • School uniform and shoes: $230 • Textbooks and workbooks: $175 • Laptop: $745 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
