Ji-min was diagnosed with endometriosis requiring surgery in August. The surgeon at Seoul University Hospital recommended laparoscopic endometriosis surgery, and She is scheduled for November. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $5,750, and after what the government subsidy will pay we're still $4,400 short.
my wife has been in and out of Seoul University Hospital since August. The doctors say endometriosis requiring surgery will get worse without laparoscopic endometriosis surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $5,750 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Ji-min struggles with daily life and can't stand for more than ten minutes. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
