Jayson was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma in April. The oncology team at Santa Rosa Regional Medical Center has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in July. He will be away from work for about 3 weeks. Jayson is 40, worked as a construction supervisor until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Santa Rosa Regional Medical Center 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $1,050 goes: • Transport to Santa Rosa Regional Medical Center: $195 • Scans and lab work: $250 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $470 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $135 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
